Hurrah

At least I have got somewhere with one company with regards to my iPod problems.

Within the space of two days (tracking things online at Apple.com), I have managed to manifest that my Nano arrived, failed all tests, a replacement was ordered and shipped today ;)

On a more negative note this does mean that the Nano was not fixable, this means that my old 20 Gb won't be :( So unless I get anywhere with Red Chair it's stuffed (and judging by the next lame email I received from them (from Crimson this time!), I think this is going to be a long drawn out process!

What also doesn't help is this kind of conversation with the person you sit next too at the office:

(I had just mentioned that I was receiving a replacement iPod Nano and was rather happy):

A) "Well that's all very well but what about all the stuff you had on it (!), you'll have to buy it again. I bet they don't think about that or reimburse you?"

Me) (Looking bemused) "Err no, the music is downloaded to your computer and transferred to your iPod."

A) "Well I guess you'd better hope that the software on your computer doesn't mess up your new one."

Me) "That's covered as I tested Richards iPod and it worked fine."

A) "Well I am sure it won't all be plain sailing."

TWAT! Sorry but if you are going to spend your life being so miserable, keep it to yourself. Don't bring others down with you!

... and relax!
