Mixed Bag

This weekend has been a bit of a mixed bag really.

The majority of yesterday was spent at a friends barbecue. The weather wasn't bad but it wasn't brilliant either. At least we could spend the afternoon in the garden though and seeing as they live in a such a lovely location you didn't notice the weather. It would seem that everyone has a nice time as plenty was ate and drank ;)

This followed a very early start to the day as Richard awoke early and I ended up getting up shortly after him at 7:30!

Today was a bit different as I have had a lousy nights sleep thanks to an old injury in the top of my spine. I am sure my disc has moved as I am in agony today, I am trying not to spend too much time in one spot so as not to seize up but then I try to move quickly and I just end up feeling dizzy. This is possibly why I didn't want to get up this morning and after a short break fro breakfast at 10:30, ended up back in bed until mid day.

I have been out into town to browse around the stores but have had no luck today as most shops I have wanted to visit have been closed and the ones that were open didn't have want I was after :(

Flicking through the TV I came across the new video from Jamiroquai. Seven Days in Sunny June has to be one of the best songs I have heard this year and I am so pleased it is to be the next single. It definitely is the stand out track from Dynamite. Even if you don't like Jamiroquai I reckon you should follow the link to iTunes and have a listen. It is the perfect song for a lovely summers day.

This photo could be some surreal summer shot of St Pauls but unsurprising this is not how the shot was originally conceived. This was generated, by accident, from Picasa and I am quite happy with this little photographic hic-cup! Who needs a Lomo camera?!

Brandy and Jerrys message of defiance made it onto We Are Not Afraid, although I doubt Jerry would be very happy being labelled Jenny! ;)
