It has been a absolutely wonderful weekend, lovely and sunny, great company and plenty of opportunity to relax.
Yesterday Ben and Adam paid us a visit, and we made light work of the al fresco feast that was laid before us. By the end of the day our tummies were bulging!
Ben drank a bit too much Pimms too, but that's a whole other story ;)
For some odd reason I had the camera charged and ready to go but forgot to use it! :(
Richard and I have made the most of the weather and our garden by quietly relaxing in the cool evening air, watching the sky larks and the bats fly over.
We even had the enthusiasm to get up this morning and have our breakfast out on the lawn :)
The rest of today has been spent in Buckinghamshire as we decided to go for a walk around the estate of Hughenden Manor. It's a lovely place to visit but it was a tad too hot to spend too long in the sun. Nevertheless we have made the most of our day. It was lovely to spend the day enjoying the great English countryside.
I must apologies to anyone who left comments in the past day or two as there does appear to have been a fair amount of problems with Haloscan, especially yesterday as G left a lengthy message and I a lengthy response. sadly both of which have disappeared.
Knotty - as a compromise on the HP front, if you want, I could read it for you (in a very Jackanory type fashion) - what do you say? ;)
There have been a couple of new photo's sneaked into my gallery this weekend. Some rare shots I must confess. Photographs of me with my parents. It's not that this is an odd occurrence, it is simply that my parents hate posing for the camera. Richard managed to persuade them last weekend when we were on Dartmoor and as ever the results are lovely.
