I have just got back from the developers and was a feeling a little flat as the envelope surrounding my first Lomographic shots was labelled "Under Exposed".True, I didn't get the whole 36 shots but this is my first attempt with my SuperSampler and the instructions did warn me to use the camera in full sun (it's no surprise that the indoor shots are the ones that failed).
The shots I have I love, they are quirky, fun and shot an element of action and flow in my photographs that I could never have predicted. One of my favourites is of Jerry, skulking by the kitchen door.
I think I will need some practice but half the fun of Lomography is the element of surprise.
What you have to realize is that most of these photo's were taken whilst throwing the camera of holding it away from me. There is no view finder or screen to help with the process.
