Well today has started bright and early, there is no clouds in the sky, the sun is out and the birds are singing - and they have been since 5:30! It really is the best time of the morning. And what am I doing up so early? Well... Richard has driven home for the weekend. Regular "Trunkies" (for that is what I am calling my visitors from now on), will recall that Richard and I are from the same part of the UK, so why haven't I gone home? Because I am still suffering with this virus/cold thing that is doing the rounds. I visited the doctor yesterday and have been given more medication to try and knock it on the head for good! I only hope it works.
I didn't fancy the drive home, I have been feeling rough all week and have been rather busy (to the point of leaving the office at lunchtime on Thursday as I couldn't concentrate) and feel this time alone in the house will be beneficial as I can lock myself in with the heating on and relax...
That said I have thought of a hundred and one things I could do!
Toby at the office summed it up as "Presenteeism" which I think is very apt. Even when I am home with time to myself I am still thinking of things to do!
I need to relax I think - "I am chanting as we speak sweetie!".
You may recall that we went to see Acorn Antiques at the beginning of it's West End run. Well the good news is that the run has been extended, sadly the bad news is that it's still remains a sell out. You can catch a behind the scenes "documentary" on ITV1 this evening (if you can bring yourself to watch such a pikey channel that is!).
More time has been spent on my iBook. I have to keep reminding myself not to think like a XP user and to simplify my application process. I have a Bluetooth dongle that gives me nothing but problems on any PC it is connected to, I was waiting for something to happen when I connected it to my iBook and it took a moment for me to realize it was working. No problems, no issues nothing! Good I love my little mobile white box of joy ;)
I won't be ditching my PC just yet although I am planning to avoid XP and run something like CherryOS.
My blog buddy (!) Comatose has been busy writing new music and has had another piece of work highlighted at Knobtweakers. I reckon you should check it out. (I also reckon I should post some of the tracks I made in the past such as Tekspace) - I know that was a shameless link but what's a boy to do! LOL
It was nice to hear Natalie Imbruglia this week - I think she has a lovely voice and is a breath of fresh air. Her new single Shiver is rather splendid and the Bourne Identity style video is worth checking out.
