Springtime 4 TG

Urban Boy posted this rather fine photograph, asking when it was going to be summer and I have to say I am inclined to agree. I have seen enough snow and ice in New York and have got used to the bright chilly weather of January but now we seem to be hit with another set of weather systems and this morning we had the lot, snow, sleet, hail, rain, sunshine and high winds! What's going on? Hopefully March will entice all the bulbs out of the ground and the splash of springtime colour will make me feel much brighter.
I have booked my ticket to go to the Tate Britain next weekend for the Turner, Whistler, Monet Exhibition that open on Friday. It may sound odd when grouped with the other two that I am not much of a Turner fan but it will be interesting to see how these three great impressionist artists depicted London and Paris by the river.
There was a more alarming news headline this week whcih I think has been bypassed by the national press (that may not be a bad thing though as it could spread panic). The news is that there has been a new strain of HIV discovered which is resistant to most current drugs.
An different source of eye candy is DJ Joe Gauthreaux who gigs in the States amongst other places. I have never heard him on the decks but I am sure he's great to watch ;)
I love browsing through the designs submitted at Threadless and have in the past uplaoded a few of my own. It's nice to see that there is now a UK equivalent called TShrt.com. I have uploaded a quick design to the community and look forward to hearing what people have to say, who knows; you may be wearing it this summer?
