Macaroon's!

Saturday, February 12, 2005

Well we came we saw and we (very nearly) wet ourselves! Acorn Antiques is so so funny - it truly is a brilliant show.

If you get the chance to nab some tickets before its limited run in the West End comes to a close you should.

I really didn't know what to expect and was dubious of how Victoria Wood, Julia Walters, Celia Emrie and crew were going to pull of bad camera angles, wonky sets and miss timed lines on the stage but they did!

And to hear Mrs O swear was just so unexpected!

This was a brilliant play and it tied up all the lose ends from the "show". This really is your one chance to find out what happened after Acorn Antiques was "axed" ;)

Oh yes and to end all speculation, we had Julia Walters play Mrs O and not Victoria Wood.

"If Ozzy Osbourne had stuck to custard fucking creams, he'd have turned out alright!"
