DANGER! Office Party in progress...
Saturday, December 11, 2004
Contrary to the TUC's guidance on health and safety at office parties I have great news to report that none of us were maimed last night!
I had a really great evening, it was lots of fun and entertaining finding out what my co workers are like away from their desks :0)
I was a bit ashamed that one of our team was such a light weight with his drink but I am sure it's just a passing phase - bless!
I'd love to be able to upload photo's from the party but annoyingly I left the camera in the back of my car! Thankfully there was another camera so watch this space ;)
It was remarked last night that I write and awful lot of smilies - do I? ;¬? LOL
I had a shock yesterday to read that James Brown has prostate cancer. I do believe he can fight it though - the guy has had a hell of a life, I am sure he will bounce back... It's a bit humbling to read that even the Godfather of Soul isn't immune to such things.
Tonight is the final of Strictly Come Dancing, my only hope is that Jill Halfpenny doesn't win - she didn't take criticism last week and I think if she had been a bad dancer her true colours would have shone through and she'd have been voted out weeks ago... Come on Julian!
I downloaded the free UK track from iTunes this week (as I do every week) and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. "Blue" by Plej is a fabulous track in a similar style to Zero 7 or Air. I don't think I even blinked as I was immediately in the online shop and purchased the album "Electronic Music from the Swedish Left Coast" - the album isn't as strong as "Destiny" or "Talkie Walkie" but it is definitely worth a listen. Highly recommended.
As an additional element to the recent barrage of Eye Candy in my blog I thought I'd add a new twist and include real guys from certain places. As Richard and I are off to New York in the new year I thought it was rather apt to feature guys from the Big Apple. I'd just to to make it clear that I am not after these guys nor am I looking to meet any of them - I am just including them here for fun!
The lovely specimen featured today calls himself BEEFYMSL230 - I think he lives up to his name - don't you?
