It's here

My new computer arrived yesterday morning (thanks to Richard who went to physically collect it!)

It took a couple hours just to take everything out of the box and get it set up. I am still in the process of updating all my new installs on the new machine. It's gone 90% smoothly but Outlook and iTunes have caused me grief. Unfortunately I have lost my playlists and ratings which has really pissed me off annoyed me! If anyone know how I can transfer this from my old machine I'd be grateful!

The weekend hasn't totally been spent on the computer - although it's 10:55 on Sunday and I have been on it since I got up!

Richard and I went into London yesterday. We spent the afternoon going around our usual retail haunts - Fortnum's, Purves & Purves etc. I managed to get a number of Christmas presents purchased yesterday so I am nearly finished. Probably just as well as it looks like as we'll be going home a week earlier due to our plans being changed unexpectedly!

We stopped at Hamburger Union for dinner last night and it was very nice. They have taken over the old Fish premises in Dean Street and basically it's an upmarket hamburger bar which serves organic meat and meat free hamburgers. The service was a little slow but considering the food was piping hot and very tasty made it worth the wait.

Ben Cohen - just look at those calve muscles! We managed to get over to the South Bank to meet Richard's brother in law and one of his nephew's who were up here on a Scout weekend. It was really nice to catch up with them and as usual it always seems odd to see someone from home in London!

If you are in London in the next couple of weeks, get down to Regents Street - the "Incredibles" Christmas lights are fab ;)

Oh and in case you were wondering - yes, Sunday's eye candy is another photo of the gorgeous Ben Cohen ;)

Just as a diversion - an odd but interesting web site you have to visit is Mansfield and Gye!
