Gay Murder in London

It's quite an alarming fact to hear the news headlines this morning "Soho nail bomb survivor murdered", "Man murdered in London was homophobic Attack".I don't understand why anyone would cause any harm to anyone else for any reason but homophobic crimes still worry me. It's also quite alarming that this took place in London - the most liberal place in the UK.
I just hope Richard and all my friends are extra vigilant when getting around town.
