Well that's it - my current role in the public sector has come to an end.The drive in seemed rather odd, knowing that I would be heading in a different direction from now on. I will miss the team and I will miss the varied projects but as I know it is time to move on. It's unfortunate but these things happen in life.
I need to progress, to learn and to broaden my horizons. The new post will give me these opportunities.
I now have a little over a week on annual leave before I start my new post.
In light of mum's operation I am heading southbound tomorrow for a couple days leaving my baby behind. I hate it when we do not see one another for any length of time and it'll be made worse knowing we're apart next weekend also!
