Does anyone remember her? (Generation Game, late 70's!)
Anyway, we just (literally) returned from a fun weekend on the Isle of Wight. Richards sister and family (plus friends and mountains of Children) invited us to join them in the middle of their holiday.
We had a wonderful time and picked the best of the weather. We got to see quite a bit of the Island, have the odd swim in the pool and the sea, lazed around the camp and filled our faces with barbecue meats and beer when the kids went to bed.
I think we both needed to take a break from our jobs and we had a really nice time.
I did seem to be reminiscing whilst there as I used to visit the Isle of Wight with my parents when I was much younger, and to be honest I don't think it's changed at all!
Don't worry though, we did manage to cram in some culture as we visited Osborne House, former residence of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
