Whilst on this ever topical subject of the Olympics I would like to bring your attention to Gamesbids.com.
This is a site devoted to all the bids for future Olympic events. Most importantly the 2012 Olympics.
Regardless of the media coverage in this country I think the Olympics coming to London would be a great event. London has so much history and an enthused nation, I am sure London is the perfect choice for 2012.
Another cool (and somewhat sweet and sexy) Olympic image is of Greece's Nikolaos Siranidis (L) and Thomas Bimis as they await the results of the men's synchronised 3 metre springboard final.
They enabled Greece to win their first gold of the games.
